Precision cancer immunotherapy

Engineering the next generation of cancer vaccines.

Coruvant Therapeutics is developing a therapeutic cancer vaccine for KRAS-driven cancers, starting with pancreatic cancer.

The Scientific Challenge

Pancreatic cancer needs new ways to engage the immune system.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is one of the most difficult cancers to treat. Most cases are driven by KRAS mutations, and the tumour environment tends to suppress immune responses.

Our Approach · The Vaccine

Turning a cancer mutation into an immune target.

Coruvant is developing a peptide-based therapeutic cancer vaccine targeting the KRAS G12D mutation, with an initial focus on KRAS G12D-mutant PDAC.

KRAS G12D is a single change in the KRAS protein found in many tumour cells, but not in healthy cells.

Our Technology · ECO Delivery

Getting the vaccine where it needs to go.

ECO is a pH-responsive ionizable lipid-based nanoparticle delivery system originating from research at Case Western Reserve University. It is designed to carry the peptide antigen into cells and release it inside them.

Delivery. ECO nanoparticles carry and protect the peptide antigen after administration.

G12D is one of the most common KRAS mutations. Because it is present in tumour cells and not in healthy cells, it is a potentially tumour-specific target for the immune system.

KRAS mutations are found in most pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas, and G12D is among the most frequent. PDAC remains a cancer with limited treatment options and significant unmet need.

It is designed to help the immune system recognise the KRAS G12D mutation and generate a targeted response against tumour cells that carry it.

ECO is intended to protect the peptide antigen and help deliver it into cells, where it can be processed and presented to the immune system.

The program is in preclinical development. It has not been tested in people and is not approved for clinical use.
